Testerical examines the long and continuing history of women's pain being dismissed, minimised or misunderstood within medicine. Using humour, exaggeration and narrative imagery, the vessel considers how assumptions about women's bodies have shaped medical treatment and how echoes of the historic diagnosis of "hysteria" persist in contemporary experiences of healthcare.
